One of the top schools in the Kantou regions, Rokkaku is also known as "Veteran of Chiba", and has qualified for the Regionals for 35 consecutive years, the last 2 even making it to the semifinals. Their strength comes from not treating tennis as a competitive sport, but as an enjoyable game; because they like it, they want to be better at it. Most of the Rokkaku players have been playing tennis since childhood, and have been using the specially designed wooden racket by Oji, the Rokkaku coach. The rackets are tailored to suit each players needs and bring out the best in them.
